報(bào)告摘要:
Isovector and isoscalar pairing in low-lying states of atomic nuclei
The pairing correlation is very important in nuclear physics. Isovector nucleon pairs with spin J = 0 are found to be dominant ingredients in low-lying states of semimagic nuclei. The isovector J = 0 pairing correlation plays a key role in nuclear infinite matter. These facts are the consequences of the strong isovector J = 0 pairing interaction between nucleons. On the other hand, Isoscalar J = 1 and J = 2j (for a large-j orbit) pairing interactions are strong. Therefore isoscalar deuton-like J = 1 pairing correlation and isoscalar spin-aligned J = 2j pairing correlation may be very important in low-lying states of N = Z nuclei. The question is whether or not a pairing correlated state (or a pair-condensation state) can be formed. In this talk, I will clarify what we mean by “nucleon pairing” and show the theoretical background to the relevant discussion. I will show that there has been no conclusive evidence for strong isoscalar J = 1 pairing correlation, and that low-lying states of N = Z even-even nuclei are well described by both isovector pair approximation and isoscalar pair approximation.
